How to Save or Download Instagram Stories and Highlights

Instagram stories and highlights are popular features that allow users to share moments that disappear after 24 hours (stories) or save them permanently on their profile (highlights). If you want to save or download these, here are some methods:

1. Save Your Own Stories or Highlights

Stories: When you post a story, you can save it directly to your device. Before or after posting, tap the “Save” button (down arrow icon) in the story editor. This saves the story to your camera roll.

Highlights: Stories saved to highlights are stored on your profile. To download them, go to your profile, tap the highlight, and save each story individually.

2. Use Instagram’s Archive Feature

Instagram automatically saves your stories to the “Archive” for easy access. To view or download archived stories:
Go to your profile and tap the menu
(three lines) in the top-right corner.

Select “Archive.”

Choose the story you want to save and tap the download icon.

Third-Party Apps and Websites

Several apps and websites allow you to download stories and highlights from public accounts. Popular options include:

Steps to Use:
Download the app or visit the website.
Log in with your Instagram credentials.
Browse the stories or highlights you want to download.
Tap the download button to save the content to your devicer

4. Using a Web Browser (For Public Accounts)

you prefer not to use apps, you can download stories or highlights via a web browser:
Open Instagram in a browser and go to the user’s profile.
Right-click on the story or highlight and select “Inspect” (or use developer tools).
Look for the video or image URL in the code and download it.
